The Collarless, Double-tapered, Highly Polished Design that inspired the Cemented stem has proven successful for more than 45 years of Hip Replacement.

As a collarless stem, intra-operatively ALTIUS facilitates surgeons to accommodate most patient anatomies and indications, including fracture and primary cases. It may be chosen as, either Total or Partial Hip Replacement system in surgeon's practice.

Three depth markings spaced 4 mm apart are etched on the proximal part of the ALTIUS stem.

The markings allow for the correction of the leg length by adjusting the depth of the stem insertion.

The same markings are also indicated on the rasps. Winged PMMA / UHMWPE distal centralizer that facilitates the stem positioning and optimizes the load transfer.
